Thank you again! Your feedback is very important to us.

We hope you were able to join us for our Spring Music Program this year, The British Are Coming! A celebration of tradition English children’s songs and songs by British composers, the program was a huge hit. Our Primary and Elementary students worked very hard to learn all the words and music for several songs.

Primary began the evening’s program with such songs as Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush and Jennie Jenkins. The students had also prepared a small dance to go with each of the songs.

The Upper Elementary students provided guidance and musical accompaniment for the Primary songs.

After the Primary songs, the Elementary students presented Friday AfternoonsFriday Afternoons is an international program that inspires young people to sing. Their song bank and support material aim to help teachers develop their students’ skills – as performers, listeners and composers.

Students greatly enjoyed performing a mix of old and new works, including Cuckoo! Mad MoonOrford Lighthouse, and several others. Select students also recited poems and excerpts.

A huge thank you to Ms. Kelly and Ms. Caroline for working so hard with our students and making them sound so good; Ms. Kate for making the set so beautiful; and Tommy Miller & Andrea Bustos for allowing us to use their gorgeous theatre to host our friends and families.
